Aveda seeks an experienced Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations. The role combines hands-on retail sales leadership with operational responsibilities, including cash reconciliation, store opening and closing, and coaching sales team members to deliver inspirational, personalized customer service. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach sales team members to model desired customer service behaviors and achieve sales and customer service targets
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and staff supervision
- Perform cash reconciliation and reconcile point-of-sale systems at start and end of shift
- Open and close the store on a rota basis, ensuring security and compliance with operational procedures
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service and lead by example in customer interactions
- Maintain retail standards and merchandising in alignment with brand guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Right to live and work in the United States

Experience
Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics or the beauty sector, with previous supervisory or team lead experience involving coaching and mentoring team members to achieve sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail or related certification desirable.
