Aveda is seeking a part-time Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with store operations, customer service, sales targets, cash reconciliation, and opening and closing duties. The role offers an hourly range of $19.30–$24.00 and eligibility for a competitive bonus program; eligible employees may also receive health, wellness, family, insurance, retirement, paid leave, education and vacation benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store.
• Lead by example through coaching and mentoring, modelling the behaviours expected of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service and achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Carry out start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
• Open and close the store on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store, is desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
• Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the United States if invited to interview.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.30 to USD 24 per hour.
