Aveda seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of a prestige beauty retail location. This supervisory role emphasizes coaching and mentoring the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving all sales and customer service targets. The Key Holder will manage essential cash reconciliation procedures and rotate opening and closing store responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the sales team to model company behaviors and deliver exceptional customer service
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and team leadership
- Execute opening and closing store procedures on a rotational basis
- Conduct start and end-of-day cash reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Uphold sales and customer service targets through team accountability and performance monitoring
- Maintain compliance with retail operations best practices and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Cash handling and retail reconciliation experience
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Experience with retail operations including cash reconciliation and opening/closing procedures is desirable.
