Aveda seeks a part-time Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with store operations, team coaching, personalized customer service, cash reconciliation, and opening and closing duties. The role pays $21.00 per hour, with the exact rate depending on experience, skills, education and budget; it is also eligible for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the store.
- Lead by example, coaching and mentoring the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service and achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Carry out start-of-day and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience; cosmetics experience preferred. Previous retail operations and supervisory experience are desirable.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is USD 21 per hour.
