Aveda seeks a Key Holder (part-time) in Austin, TX to lead sales team and manage store operations in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example and model the behaviors required for inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Coach and mentor sales team members to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Perform start and end of day cash reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close the store on a rota basis, ensuring security and compliance with store procedures
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day smooth and efficient running of the store
- Maintain retail point-of-sale systems and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Ensure compliance with retail standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail point-of-sale software experience
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience in a customer-facing environment is required. Previous supervisory or lead experience involving coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures, is beneficial but not essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 20 per hour.
