Aveda seeks a part-time Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, coach the sales team, reconcile daily cash, and open and close the store on a rotating basis. The role suits an ambitious candidate with previous retail experience seeking a first supervisory opportunity; retail hours include days, nights, weekends, and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store.
- Lead by example, coaching and mentoring the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service and meet sales and service targets.
- Perform start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the United States if invited to interview.
