Aveda seeks a Forklift Driver for its Blaine, Minnesota, warehouse to move materials, supply production lines, handle inventory transactions in SAP, and support warehouse safety and housekeeping. The role is full-time and regular, with a third-shift schedule and an anticipated pay range of $20–$25 per hour.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Move materials safely and efficiently within warehouse areas.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks, including sit-down forklifts, Tank Movers, Drexel trucks, Swing Reach trucks, and rider pallet jacks.
  • Load and unload trailers with components, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Process customer orders, perform cycle counts, and complete bin-to-bin transactions using SAP.
  • Verify the accuracy of materials required against materials picked in a timely manner.
  • Follow trained work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Help maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including general housekeeping.
  • Help process recycled materials, operate compactors, and manage pallets.
  • Supply assembly and filling lines with components and transfer finished goods out of production.
  • Perform material handling activities in line with manufacturing department goals and objectives while following workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate an individual commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in a general warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate the basic Microsoft Windows Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated English reading and writing ability.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to perform medium physical effort.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for several hours daily.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail.
