The Beauty Advisor delivers an inspirational, personalized in-store experience for customers at the Jo Malone London fragrance counter, combining creative expertise and technical product knowledge with exceptional customer service. The role involves educating customers on fragrance offerings, executing in-store events, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and driving sales within a high-performing retail team in a fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, personalized, and inspirational in-store customer service that educates and delights customers about Jo Malone London fragrances and beauty products
• Execute point-of-sale transactions using retail POS software with accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to create impact through in-store events and promotional activities
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards to ensure the counter stands out against competitors
• Demonstrate creative and technical expertise in recommending personalized fragrance and beauty solutions
• Support store operations and contribute to achieving high performance targets within a dynamic retail environment

Qualifications

• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Demonstrated creative and technical expertise in beauty or fragrance knowledge
• Retail sales certification or proven retail sales experience preferred; amateur-level experience considered for candidates demonstrating exceptional aptitude
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
• Legal right to live and work in the United States

Skills

Experience

Retail sales experience in beauty, fragrance, or prestige goods is desirable; however, enthusiastic candidates with amateur-level retail experience who demonstrate strong creative and technical aptitude will be considered.

Education

Retail sales certification preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20 to USD 21 per hour.
