Aveda seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver inspirational, personalized in-store experiences that educate and delight customers through creative and technical expertise in prestige beauty products. This role combines individual sales excellence with collaborative team efforts to execute in-store events and maintain premium visual merchandising standards. Role & Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store consultation to customers, leveraging technical product knowledge and creative expertise
• Educate customers on Aveda's skincare, makeup, fragrance, and hair care offerings through authentic and consultative engagement
• Collaborate with store team to execute in-store events and promotions that drive customer engagement and sales
• Maintain premium visual merchandising standards across the store to ensure brand positioning and competitive differentiation
• Process transactions using retail point-of-sale software with accuracy and efficiency
• Work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Proof of legal right to live and work in the United States
• Certification in retail sales or equivalent professional experience preferred; amateur-level experience welcome if demonstrating strong creative and technical aptitude

Skills

Experience

While certification in retail sales is desirable, the employer welcomes applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise. Previous experience in retail customer service or beauty consultation is advantageous but not essential.

Education

No formal educational qualification is required; retail sales certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15.75 to USD 26.25 per hour.
