Aveda seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and developing Sales Associates and achieving sales, customer service and operational targets. The role calls for retail and supervisory experience, coaching ability, and retail operations expertise; anticipated base salary is $24.00–$30.00, depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget, based on a 40-hour work week and scaled accordingly.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
- Help drive the success of the store or counter.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to help team members reach sales and customer service targets.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching or mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Applicants must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the United States if invited to interview.
