Aveda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and developing Sales Associates and achieving sales, customer service and operational targets. The role requires retail and supervisory experience, retail operations capabilities, and availability for varied retail hours, including nights, weekends and special events. This is a full-time regular position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing Sales Associates.
- Help the team achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience, with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country when invited to interview.
