Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, disassembly, repair and reassembly of mechanical and quartz movements according to brand technical procedures.
  • Adjust timing and regulation, perform water‑resistance tests and final quality control to meet maison standards.
  • Execute polishing, case and bracelet servicing, and component replacement using precision tooling and approved methods.
  • Document interventions accurately in the service file and follow warranty and traceability protocols.
  • Communicate technical findings and repair timelines to after‑sales advisors and, when required, directly to clients in a professional manner.
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment (timing machine, ultrasonic cleaner, demagnetiser, microscopes) in accordance with safety and calibration schedules.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians and participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Federal VET diploma in watchmaking (CFC) or equivalent; WOSTEP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrable manual dexterity, excellent visual acuity and steady hand for micro‑mechanical operations.
  • Solid understanding of horological theory, movement construction and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with workshop safety, clean‑room best practices and quality assurance procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
