Audemars Piguet Tokyo seeks an experienced Watchmaker Masterclass Instructor. Lead horological workshops, technical education, and VIP experiences in a luxury environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute bespoke workshops at the AP Tokyo laboratory, delivering engaging lectures on mechanical watch architecture and mechanisms
- Conduct hands-on technical instruction in movement assembly, disassembly, and related horological practices
- Present compelling brand narratives and manufacturing excellence with clarity, tailored to diverse participant backgrounds
- Welcome visitors, manage class enrollment and logistics, and address technical inquiries with authority and grace
- Curate and facilitate premium experiences for VIP clients and bespoke educational sessions
- Embody the Audemars Piguet brand philosophy in all client interactions, serving as a visible ambassador of horological mastery
- Coordinate cross-functionally with boutique, customer service, and marketing teams to enhance event impact
- Maintain training materials, equipment inventory, and event documentation; prepare reports on workshop outcomes
- Support brand initiatives and special events as required
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of formal watchmaking education from an accredited domestic or international school
- At least three years of professional experience in watch repair, horological service, or watch retail sales
- Proficiency with standard office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Competence in English sufficient for client interaction and training delivery (fluency not required)
