Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble and recondition mechanical movements and modules with exacting tolerances.
  • Regulate, time and adjust escapements, balance wheels and gear trains to factory timing specifications.
  • Diagnose faults and perform complete servicing and repairs on contemporary and vintage movements, including complications.
  • Execute fine finishing, polishing and aesthetic restoration consistent with maison standards.
  • Document interventions, manage work orders and maintain traceability using atelier procedures.
  • Collaborate with restoration, prototyping and quality-control teams to resolve technical issues and escalate parts requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness, calibration and preventive maintenance of atelier tools and micromechanical equipment.

Qualifications

  • Vocational watchmaking diploma or equivalent (WOSTEP, BTS Horlogerie, CFC or similar).
  • Proven expertise in mechanical calibres; experience with complications (chronograph, calendar, tourbillon) preferred.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity for micro-assembly work.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions and service bulletins.
  • Fluency in atelier quality and safety procedures; disciplined documentation habits.
