Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble, adjust and regulate minute repeater movements and associated chiming complications to meet haute horlogerie acoustic and functional standards.
- Perform acoustic tuning, strike sequence calibration and quality testing of chiming mechanisms to ensure consistent tonal quality and timekeeping accuracy.
- Execute fine micromechanical operations including hand-finishing, filing, pinning, and soldering of minute components under loupe magnification.
- Diagnose and repair faults in complex movements, produce technical reports and maintain traceable service documentation for each timepiece.
- Collaborate with R&D, prototyping and quality teams to refine movement designs, tolerances and manufacturing processes for complications.
Qualifications
- CFC in watchmaking or equivalent qualification; WOSTEP certification preferred.
- Proven specialist experience assembling and servicing minute repeaters and other chiming complications.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and steady handwork under magnification.
- Acute auditory discernment and experience with acoustic testing methods for strike quality.
- Fluency in workshop documentation practices and strict adherence to quality-control protocols.
