Audemars Piguet seeks Tool Setter in Meyrin. CNC programming, Alphacam, precision tooling in luxury watchmaking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture precision tooling and fixtures on CNC equipment (Willemin Macodel 408S2 with Fanuc control and Schaublin 102 turning centers)
- Program tooling designs using Alphacam software and manage technical documentation via Vault
- Perform dimensional control and inspection of machined components to ensure quality standards
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing fixtures and assembly tooling; troubleshoot and fine-tune tooling in production workshops
- Execute and manage 3D printing applications for tooling fabrication
- Collaborate proactively with industrialization engineers and production teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Support new product industrialization and manufacturing method optimization across the Audemars Piguet network
Qualifications
- Micromécanicien CFC (Swiss Federal Diploma in Micromechanics) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally within the watchmaking or precision manufacturing sector
- Demonstrated autonomous proficiency in CNC machining operations
- Strong initiative, organizational discipline, and client-satisfaction orientation
- Proven ability to adapt quickly and integrate effectively into team environments
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills across cross-functional and multi-site teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in tool setting, precision machining, or CNC operations, preferably within watchmaking, horology, or high-precision manufacturing environments. Proven autonomous capability in CNC setup and programming, with demonstrated success in fixture and tooling development.
Education
Micromécanicien CFC (Swiss Federal Diploma in Micromechanics) or recognized equivalent qualification in precision mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland, with easy access to Geneva.
