Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute educational workshops at AP Lab Tokyo, including lectures on mechanical watch structure and mechanisms
  • Deliver practical instruction in movement assembly, disassembly, and related watchmaking techniques
  • Present engaging narratives on brand heritage and horological innovation to diverse audience segments
  • Welcome visitors and guide workshop participants through scheduled experiences and specialized programming
  • Address technical questions from participants and provide expert horology consultation
  • Organize and facilitate VIP customer events and bespoke technical sessions
  • Coordinate with boutique, customer service, and marketing teams to align experiential programming with broader brand initiatives
  • Manage administrative duties, event reporting, training materials inventory, and equipment maintenance
  • Support brand events and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of specialized education in horology from a domestic or international watchmaking school
  • Three or more years of professional experience in watch repair, watchmaking support, or client-facing horological service
  • Proficiency with core business applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Functional English language capability for client communication and workshop delivery (fluency not required)
