Technical Advisor role for a leading luxury brand in Hangzhou — deliver after‑sales technical support and repair coordination for the boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver technical after‑sales support to clients and retail teams, diagnosing product issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage service requests from intake to resolution, including coordination with in‑house ateliers, external repair centres and quality control.
- Provide accurate technical information to clients and frontline staff about materials, construction, warranties and care instructions.
- Log and track repairs, parts usage and service history in the company CRM or service management system; ensure documentation meets brand standards.
- Prioritise repair workflows to meet SLAs and boutique KPIs while maintaining strict confidentiality and brand integrity.
- Train boutique staff on basic diagnostics, handling procedures and client communication for technical enquiries.
- Escalate complex or recurring product faults to product development or quality teams and contribute to continuous improvement feedback loops.
- Represent the brand professionally during client interactions, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Vocational or technical diploma in watchmaking, jewellery technology, textiles, footwear or related craft, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Proven experience in luxury after‑sales, repairs or technical service environments; experience with boutique operations preferred.
- Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage sensitive client expectations and escalations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of product construction, materials and quality control processes relevant to luxury goods.
