About Audemars Piguet
A luxury Swiss horology maison based in Le Brassus, operating within the haute‑horlogerie ecosystem of the Vallée de Joux. The employer combines artisanal watchmaking craftsmanship with progressive digital and retail initiatives to support a global network of boutiques and wholesale partners.
Tech Lead, IT Retail Solutions — confidential Swiss watchmaker in Le Brassus. Lead architecture and delivery of POS, clienteling and retail systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the end‑to‑end retail IT landscape, including POS, clienteling, store integrations, CRM and middleware.
- Define solution architecture, technical standards and integration patterns to ensure scalable, secure and maintainable retail systems.
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of developers, engineers and external vendors; coordinate delivery across internal stakeholders (retail, e‑commerce, CRM, operations).
- Own the retail IT roadmap and release plan: translate business requirements into specifications, estimate effort, prioritise work and manage dependencies.
- Manage third‑party vendor relationships, software procurement, contract scopes and performance SLAs.
- Drive incident resolution and post‑mortem processes for retail production systems; implement continuous improvement and monitoring.
- Ensure conformity with security, data protection and compliance policies for customer and transaction data.
- Collaborate with product and store operations to conduct user acceptance testing, training and staged rollouts in boutique environments.
Qualifications
- Proven track record delivering retail IT solutions (POS, clienteling, CRM integrations) in a multi‑channel retail environment.
- Demonstrable leadership experience: leading technical teams, coordinating vendors and driving cross‑disciplinary projects to completion.
- Strong understanding of system integration patterns (API design, message buses, ETL) and enterprise architecture principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate technical tradeoffs to business audiences.
- Fluency in English; professional working knowledge of French is strongly preferred given the role’s Swiss location.
