Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end procurement for assigned commodity categories: develop category strategies, define sourcing roadmaps and manage implementation.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification and negotiation of commercial terms, ensuring competitive cost, quality and lead times.
  • Manage contractual frameworks, master agreements and purchase conditions in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
  • Perform market intelligence, price benchmarking and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement through KPIs, audits and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product development, quality assurance, operations and logistics to ensure material and specification compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risk, including alternative sourcing strategies and inventory optimisation.
  • Champion sustainability and regulatory compliance in supplier selection and materials sourcing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional procurement certification preferred (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven track record in commodity/category purchasing within manufacturing, luxury goods, fashion or related industries.
  • Demonstrable negotiation experience on international contracts and managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modelling, TCO and supplier performance metrics.
