Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end procurement for assigned commodity categories: develop category strategies, define sourcing roadmaps and manage implementation.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification and negotiation of commercial terms, ensuring competitive cost, quality and lead times.
- Manage contractual frameworks, master agreements and purchase conditions in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
- Perform market intelligence, price benchmarking and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
- Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement through KPIs, audits and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product development, quality assurance, operations and logistics to ensure material and specification compliance.
- Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risk, including alternative sourcing strategies and inventory optimisation.
- Champion sustainability and regulatory compliance in supplier selection and materials sourcing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional procurement certification preferred (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record in commodity/category purchasing within manufacturing, luxury goods, fashion or related industries.
- Demonstrable negotiation experience on international contracts and managing complex supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modelling, TCO and supplier performance metrics.

Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible procurement or commodity sourcing experience, preferably within luxury goods, fashion, FMCG or industrial manufacturing, including international sourcing and cross‑border supplier management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering or related discipline; Master's degree or relevant professional procurement certification is advantageous.
