Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities to ensure respect of production schedules and customer priorities
- Optimize capacity and load of production means, guaranteeing availability of equipment and necessary resources
- Monitor workshop performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Supervise CNC milling and electrical discharge machining activities, ensuring proper equipment operation
- Lead, motivate, and develop production teams; organize assignments based on skills and production needs
- Manage schedules, leave, absences, and replacements; conduct annual reviews and performance evaluations
- Participate in recruitment and integration of new team members; develop team versatility and competencies
- Enforce quality procedures and specifications; analyze non-conformities and drive action plans
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, prevent risk situations, and participate in incident analysis
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives; propose and pilot productivity improvement projects
- Reduce setup times, scrap, and machine downtime; participate in process digitalization and optimization
- Collaborate effectively with methods, quality, maintenance, and logistics departments
Qualifications
- Technical background in mechanics, micromechanics, or polymechanics with minimum 5 years of significant experience managing a CNC machining workshop, ideally in milling and electrical discharge machining
- Expert knowledge of precision part manufacturing and industrial production processes
- Proficiency in production planning, resource optimization, and equipment performance management
- Recognized management capability with proven ability to develop employee competencies, foster versatility, and maintain positive working environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset

Minimum 5 years of significant experience in managing a CNC machining workshop, with proven expertise in precision manufacturing, production planning, quality control, and team leadership. Education
Technical qualification in mechanics, micromechanics, or polymechanics required.
