Audemars Piguet seeks a Production Quality Coordinator in Meyrin, Switzerland to ensure product conformity and drive continuous improvement in watchmaking operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify, document, and process non-conformities, maintaining complete traceability through non-conformity reports
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives using established methodologies (Ishikawa, QRQC, 8D)
- Monitor and analyze quality indicators including scrap rates, rework rates, and conformity percentages
- Perform workstation audits and participate in process validations to ensure adherence to established standards
- Train and raise awareness among production team members regarding quality requirements and best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing non-conformities and quality-related costs
- Track and oversee quality metrics across workshop operations to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Technical CFC, quality-focused apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of confirmed experience in the watchmaking industry, preferably in finishing and surface treatments
- Strong knowledge of high-end product requirements, aesthetic criteria, surface finishing treatments, decorative processes, and assembly techniques
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, GPS tolerances, and conventional measurement instruments
- Mastery of quality management tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, QRQC, 5M methodology) and competence with enterprise software, particularly ERP systems such as M3
- Analytical capability to diagnose quality issues, identify root causes, and drive improvement actions
- Strong attention to detail, observation skills, analytical mindset, and collaborative approach with production teams

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in the watchmaking industry, with particular emphasis on production quality assurance, finishing operations, and surface treatment processes. Proven track record of implementing quality improvements and managing non-conformities in high-precision manufacturing environments.
Education
Technical CFC (Swiss apprenticeship certificate), quality-focused technical training, or equivalent professional qualification in engineering or manufacturing quality.
