Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and animate daily quality activities on the production shopfloor, ensuring in-line controls and final inspections meet established standards.
- Monitor quality KPIs, produce regular reports and escalate trends or deviations to production and management.
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions using structured methodologies (8D, RCA), and verify effectiveness of CAPA.
- Maintain and update control plans, inspection instructions and first-article inspection (FAI) documentation during production and industrialization phases.
- Facilitate cross‑functional communication between production, metrology, supply‑chain and suppliers to resolve non‑conformities and prevent recurrence.
- Plan and deliver on-the-job quality training for operators and supervisors to embed process discipline and workmanship standards.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits or customer-specific quality requirements when applicable.
Qualifications
- Tertiary technical qualification in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, watchmaking (CFC/Diploma) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in production quality within precision manufacturing — watchmaking experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis, corrective action management and continuous improvement in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001 and industry best practices).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross‑functional problem solving; on‑site French fluency is advantageous and professional English is desirable.

Education
Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, quality engineering or watchmaking (CFC/Brevet preferred).
