Audemars Piguet seeks a Maintenance Technician in Le Locle, Switzerland. Join our Infrastructure team and manage production equipment reliability and facility systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery to maximize availability and minimize downtime
- Perform corrective and emergency maintenance interventions on production equipment and building systems
- Monitor facility installations and technical systems, document technical incidents, and escalate first-level interventions through established protocols
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance work performed by external specialists and contractors
- Record, track, and communicate all maintenance activities and findings to internal teams
- Collaborate with internal services on commissioning of new equipment and infrastructure systems
- Participate in project work and on-call rotations to ensure continuous facility operations
- Share relevant technical information and incident data with team leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Federal diploma (CFC) in automation, electrical work, mechanical engineering, or equivalent formal qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a comparable maintenance or technical role
- Current certification under Article 15 of the OIBT (Ordonnance sur les installations électriques)
- Demonstrated experience managing and monitoring maintenance projects
- Strong problem-solving capability and technical rigor
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with clear sense of responsibility and accountability
- Autonomous, efficient, and flexible with work scheduling, including on-call availability
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in a comparable maintenance or technical position, with demonstrated expertise in equipment reliability, facility management, and cross-functional project execution within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience within luxury manufacturing or precision industries is valued.
Education
Federal Certificate of Competency (CFC) in automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent formal technical qualification. Certification under Article 15 of the OIBT is required.
