Role & Responsibilities
- Perform performance and aging tests on watch heads, movements, and horological components; analyze movements post-qualification testing
- Express and formalize findings and measurements, drafting comprehensive analysis and qualification reports
- Conduct specialized analyses in support of assembly and quality control workshop operations
- Define qualification plans and specifications for new products in coordination with Audemars Piguet's test catalog protocols
- Develop and maintain specific control instructions for watch heads
- Establish measurement programs for chronometric performance evaluation and barrel control
Qualifications
- Certified apprenticeship diploma (CFC) in Watchmaking or equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by technical training in horological design
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar laboratory or technical role within watchmaking
- Demonstrated expertise in complex mechanical movements
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and mechanical/climatic aging apparatus
- Solid knowledge of statistical measurement and data treatment methodologies
