Audemars Piguet seeks an IT Manager for the Greater China Region in Hong Kong to oversee regional IT operations and strategic technology initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Global IT across the Greater China Region and act as trusted advisor to regional leadership while ensuring effective collaboration with Global IT functions
- Govern regional IT service providers and local resources, driving continuous improvement of IT services and user experience
- Ensure availability and performance of information systems within the domain, defining and monitoring performance indicators in accordance with established SLAs
- Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitor incident and problem backlogs for ITSM compliance, and coordinate major incidents and escalations
- Support executive and VIP technology needs and govern outsourced support partners
- Communicate departmental strategy and participate in defining and communicating the roadmap for departmental activities
- Monitor roadmap execution and measure departmental performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks to adapt strategy accordingly
- Ensure alignment of technological solutions with the IT system and capture and prioritize business requirements
- Support business cases, demand management, change management, and user adoption initiatives
- Schedule and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training sessions, maintain asset inventory and labels, and implement group minimum cybersecurity baselines
- Execute cybersecurity compliance controls and collect evidence for audits
- Follow incident runbooks for cyber hygiene and crisis escalation under Security Operations guidance
- Oversee consistent implementation of global cybersecurity standards across offices and boutiques, monitoring endpoint, patching, and privileged-access controls
- Oversee projects related to area of expertise, including planning of human, material, and financial resources
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from established objectives, and implement corrective measures
- Participate in project reviews, ensure regular communication of project status to stakeholders, and report regularly to management
- Collaborate with other teams to support cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Participate in defining and optimizing team human resource needs and collaborate with HR on recruitment
- Organize and monitor onboarding of new employees, encourage skills development, and identify support needs
- Participate in implementing succession plans to ensure team continuity
- Define individual and team objectives, monitor progress using KPIs, and regularly evaluate employee performance with constructive feedback
- Manage task allocation and completion to ensure timely delivery and foster collaboration among team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding working hours and HR rules and processes
- Develop annual budget for area of responsibility aligned with departmental forecasts and objectives
- Present, explain, and justify budgetary elements to management
- Implement dashboards and reporting systems to monitor budget execution
- Analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actual results and implement corrective actions
- Identify expenditure optimization opportunities and propose cost reduction strategies
- Participate in contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers
- Evaluate investment projects and ensure budget monitoring
- Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures related to supplier management and coordinates contract creation with Purchasing and Legal departments
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards and support audits and risk management activities
- Maintain operational procedures and documentation and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technology standards
- Maintain KPIs and management reporting with accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Provide visibility on risks, projects, and service performance
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of proven experience in similar IT management roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diplomatic and mediator capabilities
- Ability to work in a volatile and constantly evolving environment with versatility
- Familiarity with infrastructure assets such as switches, Wi-Fi, and firewall systems
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater China Region as required
- ITIL v4 or v5 certification
- Experience managing retail and office projects or similar initiatives
- Flexibility in working hours
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus

At least 3 years of proven experience in similar IT management or regional IT operations roles, ideally with exposure to managing retail and office environments or comparable multi-site operational scenarios within a luxury or complex organisational context.
Education
