Role & Responsibilities
- Support the industrial controlling team with monthly production closing and reconciliation of manufacturing costs.
- Analyse cost variances (materials, labor, overhead) and prepare concise explanations and corrective action proposals.
- Consolidate production and inventory data to feed rolling forecasts, budgets and KPI dashboards.
- Prepare financial and operational reports and presentation materials for controllers and plant management.
- Assist with continuous‑improvement projects to enhance costing processes, data integrity and reporting automation.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing and quality teams to ensure alignment between operational activity and financial records.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong analytical aptitude with comfort handling large datasets and performing variance analysis.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and formula‑based modelling; proficiency with PowerPoint for reporting.
- Organised, detail oriented and able to meet monthly reporting deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional demeanour with effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.

Experience
Internship level; previous internships or coursework in corporate/industrial controlling, cost accounting, financial analysis or manufacturing finance strongly preferred.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Industrial Engineering.
