Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders to optimize procurement performance
- Establish annual cost reduction objectives with actionable plans while ensuring quality service delivery and contractual risk mitigation
- Support departmental procurement processes, lead negotiations, and evaluate supplier financial performance using total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
- Manage all contractual phases including service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs); provide support in supplier disputes and contract compliance issues
- Initiate continuous improvement projects, performance management systems, and risk management initiatives
- Analyze market trends and evaluate new suppliers while considering technological, economic, and environmental factors
Qualifications
- University degree in Procurement, Purchasing, or Business Administration
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar purchasing role, preferably with 5+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in Category Management methodology and proven track record in category procurement management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
