General Services Manager position at Audemars Piguet in Le Locle, Switzerland—lead facilities, OHS, and IT support operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team while fostering a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented workplace culture
  • Oversee building management, facilities, and infrastructure operations, ensuring optimal functionality and maintenance of all equipment and installations
  • Supervise external service providers and guarantee the quality of services delivered
  • Manage budgets related to the scope of responsibility and oversee project execution across infrastructure, construction, renovation, and site improvements
  • Serve as the site's occupational health and safety (OHS) reference, implementing and maintaining OHS management systems whilst promoting a strong safety culture
  • Conduct risk assessments, investigate accidents, and ensure follow-up of corrective measures; prepare for SUVA and regulatory authority inspections
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across facilities, fire protection systems, emergency preparedness, and environmental obligations
  • Supervise first-level IT support operations in coordination with Group IT teams and participate in defining technological needs and implementing system upgrades
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders around shared objectives to deliver effective site-wide improvements and business continuity planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree, or equivalent qualification in a technical, industrial, or infrastructure-related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of confirmed experience in an industrial environment with significant responsibility for occupational health and safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven experience managing site services or cross-functional support functions covering infrastructure, facilities, OHS, security, or facility management
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing one or more industrial sites with coordination of multiple support functions and management of internal and external expert networks
  • Confirmed experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting employee development and upskilling
  • Strong capability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments; coordinate diverse trades and disciplines; and align multiple stakeholders toward common objectives
  • Solid experience in cross-functional project management, budget governance, and change management within demanding industrial settings
  • Understanding of business continuity, site security, and industrial site operations
  • Demonstrable leadership presence, strategic vision, and ability to prioritize competing priorities while sustaining site-wide performance
