Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble and adjust watch movements and components to prototype and series production specifications, ensuring mechanical integrity and aesthetic finishing.
  • Interpret technical drawings, assembly plans and tolerances; carry out precise manual operations using micromechanical tools and measuring instruments.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production engineers to transfer prototypes into manufacturable assemblies and to implement design changes.
  • Perform in-process inspection and final quality checks; document assembly steps, deviations and corrective actions according to workshop procedures.
  • Maintain a 5S-organized bench, adhere to clean-room or contamination-control protocols, and ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma in watchmaking, precision mechanics or equivalent technical apprenticeship preferred.
  • Proven manual dexterity and fine-motor control with experience assembling micro-mechanical components.
  • Ability to read and apply technical drawings, tolerances and specification sheets.
  • Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail and patience for repetitive, high-precision tasks.
