Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary dial workshop team, organising daily production and assigning work to meet delivery schedules and quality targets.
- Supervise dial assembly, finishing and inspection processes to ensure impeccable aesthetic and technical standards.
- Coach, train and develop skilled operators; monitor individual performance and maintain a stable, motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness (5S) and internal quality procedures; escalate defects and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve production bottlenecks and optimise processes.
- Maintain production records, report KPIs and propose incremental improvements to yield, lead time and scrap reduction.
- Oversee routine maintenance of specialised assembly fixtures and metrology equipment; liaise with technical support for repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in precision manufacturing or watchmaking (team leader or foreman role).
- Practical background in dial assembly, finishing, gem-setting or micro-mechanical assembly preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions; strong attention to aesthetic detail and measurement tolerances.
- Demonstrable coaching and people-management skills with experience developing artisan-level talent.
- Fluency in workplace safety and quality systems; familiarity with 5S/continuous improvement methods an advantage.

Typically 3–7 years in precision manufacturing or haute horlogerie production with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leader capacity; hands-on experience in dialwork or related micro-assembly strongly preferred.
