Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate product and watch concepts from initial sketch through to detailed technical documentation and production-ready files.
- Produce hand sketches, renderings and 3D CAD models to communicate form, mechanism integration and finishing options.
- Create precise technical drawings and specifications for internal engineering and external suppliers, ensuring manufacturability and quality standards.
- Lead prototyping cycles — coordinate rapid prototypes, mock-ups and final samples with model makers and suppliers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, materials, sourcing and brand teams to align design intent with technical constraints and brand language.
- Present design proposals to stakeholders, justify design decisions with supporting research and trend insight, and adapt concepts following feedback.
- Maintain design documentation and version control across the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to material, finishing and component selection with a focus on premium quality, durability and aesthetic coherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent vocational qualification.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating product and/or watch design — concept generation, CAD modelling and finished samples.
- Fluency in 3D CAD workflows and experience translating concepts into manufacturing-ready documentation.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes and small-part tolerances typical of luxury product production.
- Excellent visual communication skills, including hand sketching and digital rendering.
- Strong collaborative mindset with experience working alongside engineering and production teams.

Mid-level product design experience: typically 3–5 years working in product, industrial or watch design for luxury goods, with a demonstrable track record of taking concepts through to production.
Education
