Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute commodity-specific sourcing strategies aligned with product, quality and sustainability targets.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification and development for assigned commodity areas, including audits and supplier onboarding.
- Negotiate commercial terms, frame agreements and long‑term contracts to secure cost, quality and continuity of supply.
- Drive cost‑reduction and value‑creation initiatives through total‑cost‑of‑ownership analysis, value engineering and market intelligence.
- Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation and corrective action plans; ensure compliance with CSR and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with design, product development, quality, planning and logistics teams to translate technical specifications into purchase plans.
- Run RFx processes, evaluate bids and present sourcing recommendations to stakeholders and governance committees.
- Monitor KPIs, maintain procurement dashboards and provide regular reporting to category and senior management.
Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years of procurement experience with responsibility for commodity/category sourcing; experience in luxury goods or high‑specification materials preferred.
- Proven track record of strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation and contract management for direct materials (e.g., textiles, leather, metals, packaging).
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to generate measurable savings and manage supply‑risk.
- Fluency in English required; French highly desirable given the Geneva location.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrix organisation and present to senior stakeholders.

Experience
Mid‑to‑senior procurement professional with at least five years’ experience in commodity or category sourcing, ideally within the luxury, fashion, or consumer goods sectors. Demonstrated success in supplier development, complex negotiations and cross‑border sourcing projects is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field; master’s degree or professional procurement qualification is an advantage.
