Audemars Piguet seeks an Application Security Expert in Switzerland to lead secure software development and DevSecOps initiatives within the Cybersecurity team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, deploy, and maintain an effective Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC)
- Integrate security at the design phase of projects and applications (Security by Design)
- Design and promote secure application architectures
- Review source code, development practices, and production deployment processes to identify and mitigate risks
- Deploy DevSecOps principles by embedding security controls in CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure API security through authentication, authorization, and data encryption standards
- Implement protections against DoS/DDoS attacks, WAF rules, and detection mechanisms
- Train and guide development teams and Security Champions on security best practices
- Lead security governance through committees, action plans, reporting, and performance metrics
- Drive continuous improvement, technology research, and documentation to strengthen organizational cybersecurity maturity
Qualifications
- Higher education in computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent field
- Proven experience in application security, DevSecOps, or software security
- Thorough understanding of secure development principles and application security standards
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD environments, modern architectures, and APIs
- Expertise in authentication, authorization, encryption, and web application protection concepts
- Knowledge of standards and frameworks such as OWASP, S-SDLC, DevSecOps, and Secure Coding
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical explanation skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in application security, DevSecOps, or software security, with demonstrated capability to implement and govern secure development practices across modern technical environments.
Education
Higher education in computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent field.
