Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all spa areas and facilities, including hot tubs, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, sensory showers, wet areas, treatment rooms, and gym equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities, including pumps, motors, filters, dosing systems, control panels, lighting fixtures, and temperature regulation systems
• Monitor and maintain water quality of jacuzzis and hot tubs by measuring and adjusting pH, chlorine or bromine, alkalinity, and hardness levels in accordance with established standards
• Verify and ensure proper operation of aromatherapy, chromotherapy systems, and specialized spa equipment
• Maintain ventilation and extraction systems in wet areas in optimal condition, ensuring efficient and safe operation
• Accurately record and maintain all equipment readings, maintenance logs, water quality controls, and equipment condition reports
• Ensure all facilities and equipment comply with established hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
• Promptly identify, report, and address any failure, anomaly, or condition that may pose a risk to guest or colleague safety and well-being
• Maintain a service-oriented, collaborative, and detail-focused approach consistent with luxury hospitality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, resorts, or spa environments
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, and filtration systems
• Knowledge of water quality parameters and safe handling of chemical products
• Experience operating and maintaining hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and wellness equipment is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and safely in humid and high-temperature environments
• Strong attention to detail with ability to promptly identify and address equipment anomalies

Skills

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably within luxury hospitality, resorts, or spa operations. Specialized experience in the operation and maintenance of hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and wellness equipment is highly valued.

Education

No formal education specified; technical training or certification in spa operations, HVAC systems, or general maintenance is advantageous.
