Spa Fitness and Yoga Instructor position at Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. Lead wellness programmes in Thailand's first urban Aman hotel. Full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead group and individual fitness, yoga, and Pilates sessions tailored to guests' wellness objectives and physical abilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and fitness evaluations for all guests, maintaining detailed records
- Manage daily spa booking systems, including setup, confirmation, and schedule verification
- Provide professional gym orientation and equipment instruction to ensure safe and effective guest use
- Develop and document customized training programmes for individual guests based on fitness assessments
- Perform daily safety inspections on all fitness equipment, sauna, and steam room facilities
- Prepare and maintain gym operations, including activation of equipment and replenishment of amenities such as mineral water, towels, and headphones
- Greet and support all gym users with professional hospitality and expert guidance on posture, breathing, and movement techniques
- Assist in spa facility showcases and private session sales presentations
- Support reception desk operations during peak periods, breaks, and staffing transitions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and organisation of spa, studio, and fitness areas
- Stay current with fitness, yoga, Pilates, and holistic health trends and best practices
- Attend mandatory training courses and contribute to the onboarding of new team members
- Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by department management
Qualifications
- Recognised certification in fitness instruction, yoga, and/or Pilates
- Demonstrated expertise in leading group and private fitness sessions
- Proficiency in health assessment protocols and fitness evaluation methodologies
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, injury prevention, and movement biomechanics
- Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end wellness environments
- Fluency in English; additional languages a distinct advantage
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years' professional experience as a fitness, yoga, or Pilates instructor in a hospitality or luxury wellness setting, with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality instruction to diverse clienteles and manage multiple concurrent wellness programmes.
Education
Formal certification in fitness instruction, yoga instruction, and/or Pilates certification from an accredited provider. First Aid and CPR certification required.
