Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of wines and spirits from international sources and communicate informed recommendations to guests with consideration for pricing and preferences
- Ensure proper storage, temperature control, and glassware presentation standards for all wines served
- Preserve opened bottles using appropriate techniques to maintain wine integrity and quality
- Train and mentor front-of-house staff on wine inventory, pairing recommendations, and service protocols
- Conduct monthly beverage inventory audits and manage par stock levels for all operating equipment and supplies
- Lead daily pre-shift briefings in the absence of the Outlet Manager, covering service procedures, menu details, and operational preparation
- Establish and maintain par stock standards to ensure optimal outlet readiness
- Coordinate with kitchen and beverage departments on daily operations, quality assurance, and service alignment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards throughout front and back-of-house areas
Qualifications
- Sommelier Certification or equivalent professional wine qualification
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality establishment
- Advanced proficiency in English and Italian, both verbal and written
- Computer literacy and familiarity with beverage management systems

Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role within a fine dining establishment or comparable ultra-luxury hospitality venue, demonstrating leadership capability and comprehensive wine service expertise.
Education
Degree or Diploma in any discipline; Sommelier Certification is mandatory.
