Role & Responsibilities
- Protect the brand and model Aman's purpose and values through day-to-day security operations
- Project a professional, confident, and reassuring image to guests, visitors, and colleagues
- Conduct and assist in continuing vulnerability assessments to identify all risks affecting the hotel
- Recommend and assist in implementing proportionate countermeasures to minimize or eliminate identified security risks
- Monitor critical areas throughout the premises continuously
- Study the security and safety situation, recommend appropriate policies and procedures, and update existing protocols
- Recommend and support upgrading of hotel security and safety systems
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Security Operations Manual
- Coordinate with outsourced security providers for recruitment and deployment of qualified security personnel
- Support training for the Emergency Response Team and ensure all security staff are trained in fire hazard protocols
- Conduct regular safety system tests, practice fire drills, evacuation drills, and threat response exercises
- Respond appropriately to various emergency situations
- Function as an asset protection advisor to hotel management
- Ensure the organization operates strictly within legal and ethical parameters
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory-level experience in Engineering or Security operations within an international luxury hotel
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline
- CPR certification
- Verbal and written proficiency in Japanese
- Computer proficiency
