Amanvari Los Cabos seeks Security Supervisor to lead security team at luxury coastal resort. Requires 3 years luxury hotel security experience, paramedic certification, and advanced first aid training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of Security Officers and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies
- Conduct daily security briefings and shift handovers with accurate communication of relevant security information
- Monitor CCTV and access control systems, responding immediately to irregularities or emergencies
- Coordinate and lead responses to incidents including fires, thefts, injuries, and evacuation procedures
- Provide immediate medical attention in emergencies and ensure first aid kits, defibrillators (AEDs), and emergency equipment are in optimal condition
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and service areas to ensure adherence to safety standards
- Verify that all security equipment including fire extinguishers and alarms is functional and maintained according to established policies
- Train, guide, and motivate staff on security procedures, emergency protocols, and guest interaction standards
- Support security and protection audits to identify potential risks within the property
- Maintain organized records of incidents, reports, trainings, and inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hotel security with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven knowledge of security procedures, loss prevention, and emergency response
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or security certifications preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (minimum 75%)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Certification or training as a Paramedic, First Responder, or in Advanced First Aid (CPR, AED, trauma care)
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, fire panels, and access control systems highly desirable

Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hotel security operations, with at least 1 year in a direct supervisory capacity. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining security procedures, loss prevention protocols, and emergency response procedures within high-end hospitality environments is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or security certifications are preferred. Paramedic certification, First Responder training, or Advanced First Aid certification (including CPR and AED) is mandatory.
