Amanoi seeks an experienced Security Manager to oversee all security operations at this ultra-luxury resort nestled within Vietnam's Nui Chua National Park and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The incumbent will direct an outsourced security team, develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protocols, and maintain vigilant oversight of the property's protection infrastructure. Reporting to the General Manager and Resort Manager, this role demands excellence in emergency response, incident investigation, and the coordination of security operations across a sophisticated coastal hospitality environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work independently and remain onsite to address security issues at any time
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, protocols, and procedures
- Monitor and supervise outsourced security team to ensure strict adherence to working procedures
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational security needs
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events and functions
- Respond promptly to security emergencies and incidents
- Assign rosters to security supervisors and evaluate team performance
- Review reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns
- Investigate and resolve security issues and violations
- Create detailed reports for management on security status and findings
- Analyze security data to form proposals for operational improvements
- Coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill security objectives at the highest standard
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Security, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant security experience
- Proven experience in a Security Manager or Assistant Security Manager role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations, fire prevention, and emergency procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent command of English
- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information professionally
- Background in military or police service is advantageous
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant security management experience, with proven success in a Security Manager or Assistant Security Manager capacity within a luxury hotel or resort setting. Prior military or police service is regarded as an advantage.
Education
Diploma or Degree in Security, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Ninh Hải, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam, with easy access to Nha Trang.
