Aman Rosa Alpina Revenue Manager position in Italy—drive revenue optimization, manage pricing strategies, and lead the Reservations Team at this luxury resort.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize revenue performance by strategically managing room inventory, pricing, restrictions, and multi-channel distribution to optimize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and revenue index metrics
- Utilize and manage the IDeaS G3 revenue management system to generate pricing recommendations, demand forecasts, and actionable revenue strategies, applying sound commercial judgment and market intelligence
- Monitor and analyse competitor pricing, market trends, demand generators, booking pace, and market dynamics to maintain competitive positioning within the local marketplace
- Analyse weekly and monthly STR/CoSTAR Reports, track RevPAR Index (RGI) performance, and develop action plans to improve market share
- Lead the Reservations Team by fostering an environment of training, development, coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive demand during need periods, identify promotional opportunities, and develop targeted digital campaigns and offers
- Chair weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings, communicate strategic decisions to stakeholders, and provide tactical and strategic recommendations based on historical trends, market intelligence, and demand forecasts
- Develop, monitor, and adjust pricing strategies, length-of-stay controls, inventory allocations, cut-off dates, and group block management activities
- Lead the monthly forecasting process and contribute to the preparation of the annual operating plan and strategic budget
- Ensure accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term revenue forecasts utilizing both system-generated and manual forecasting methodologies
- Maintain records of denied and displaced business and develop strategies to capture future demand opportunities
- Train and educate hotel teams on revenue management principles, pricing strategies, distribution management, and optimization practices
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of data inputs within Property Management System (PMS), Central Reservation System (CRS), channel manager, and revenue management platforms
- Prepare and present periodic revenue performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management and coordinate with regional and corporate sales offices
Qualifications
- Proven background in revenue management within a luxury resort or hotel environment
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing revenue strategies with minimal supervision
- Advanced working knowledge and hands-on experience with Revenue Management System (RMS), specifically IDeaS G3
- Strong understanding of hotel distribution channels, channel management, and revenue optimization techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with ability to manipulate, analyse, and present large data volumes
- Strong analytical, forecasting, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- High level of numerical and commercial acumen with ability to translate data into actionable business strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decisions at all organizational levels
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
