Amangiri seeks a Restaurant Server in Canyon Point, Utah to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in an ultra-luxury desert resort environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive service throughout each guest's dining experience
- Review menus daily to maintain current knowledge of specials and menu changes
- Guide guests through food and beverage offerings with in-depth menu and wine knowledge
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Communicate dietary restrictions and allergies clearly to kitchen staff
- Maintain clean and well-organized workstations and dining areas
- Set up tables according to host instructions and company standards
- Verify guest satisfaction throughout their meal and anticipate needs proactively
- Ensure all products served are accurately reflected on the final bill
- Coordinate service flow with team members, including Server Assistants
- Complete assigned side duties, opening and closing tasks per guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage or fine dining environment
- TIPS and ServSafe certifications required
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros, SevenRooms, and Opera
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in a food and beverage environment is required. Demonstrated competence in delivering attentive service, managing multiple tables, and operating POS systems is essential.
Education
TIPS and ServSafe certifications required.
