Aman Residence Butler

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, intuitive, and exceptional service that consistently exceeds guest expectations
• Maintain exemplary standards of grooming, hygiene, and professional presentation in compliance with Aman requirements
• Adhere strictly to all Aman policies, procedures, service standards, and Standard Operating Procedures
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of resort facilities, services, and local cultural experiences to assist guests confidently
• Review guest profiles in advance and proactively anticipate individual preferences and special requirements
• Prepare assigned residences to ensure they are fully equipped, immaculate, and service-ready at all times
• Monitor the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance condition of assigned residences, reporting defects promptly
• Respond immediately to guest requests and coordinate seamlessly with Butler Supporters, Supervisors, Residence Management, and other departments
• Ensure all service equipment, amenities, and operational supplies remain complete and in excellent working condition
• Minimize breakage, wastage, and unnecessary operating costs through conscientious handling of resort assets
• Identify and communicate appropriate upselling opportunities for resort services and experiences
• Support monthly inventory procedures and maintain accurate operational records as assigned
• Participate actively in departmental briefings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities
• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless daily operations
• Report guest feedback, incidents, maintenance concerns, and operational issues with promptness
• Execute additional duties as directed by the Butler Supervisor or Residence Management team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related discipline
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, or Guest Services at a luxury 5-star hotel or resort
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with a positive, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build genuine rapport and trust with guests
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and consistent service quality
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by resort operations
• Fluent command of spoken and written English; additional language proficiency (Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, or similar) is advantageous

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, or Guest Services within a luxury or 5-star hotel or resort environment, demonstrating excellence in guest-facing hospitality roles.

Education

Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a closely related discipline.
