The Reservations Executive supports Aman’s Central Reservations team in Colombo, handling reservation and concierge enquiries from Chinese-speaking guests and trade partners while contributing to sales, revenue growth and service quality. The role reports to the Reservations Manager and is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle reservation and concierge enquiries from Chinese-speaking guests across all channels.
- Upsell and cross-sell to maximise booking value and conversion.
- Support revenue growth strategies focused on China and Taiwan.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reservation systems.
- Build strong working relationships with Aman properties and corporate colleagues.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on occupancy, conversion, and lead status.
- Maintain updated knowledge of Aman properties, offerings, and market trends.
- Follow up on all guest and trade enquiries in a timely and personalised manner.
- Assist team members in achieving shared sales targets and service quality benchmarks.
- Uphold Aman’s service culture and brand standards in every guest interaction.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in reservations, customer service, or luxury hospitality.
- Hospitality education is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin or Cantonese and English.
- Experience with Opera, Fidelio, SynXis, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus.
- Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of Chinese luxury travel preferences and market behaviour.
