Aman Regional New Openings Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate all pre-opening key milestones; manage logistical tasks related to new openings, maintain project documentation, and assist in data entry tasks
• Develop comprehensive understanding of legal documents related to project development including Hotel Management Agreements and Technical Services Agreements
• Track critical path milestones (pre-opening budget, manning, procurements); review time constraints against Hotel Management Agreements and report progress to the New Openings team regularly
• Develop appropriate manning guides based on forecasted occupancy, property scope, and profitability targets
• Assist in developing pre-opening budgets and operating supplies & equipment (OS&E) budgets for new properties aligned with Aman Group standards
• Maintain and execute pre-opening administration and correspondence; follow up where necessary
• Ensure clear, specific internal communication with all stakeholders regarding pre-opening progress
• Work collaboratively with the New Openings team and regional operating colleagues to develop new projects
• Delegate tasks and liaise with corporate, regional, and property colleagues as well as third parties on pre-opening matters
• Utilize technology effectively to communicate and influence throughout the organization in a timely, high-impact manner
• Assign tasks to relevant stakeholders on critical path tools once projects are handed over by the Technical Services team
• Train corporate and property colleagues on project management system usage
• Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide on-property support during opening countdown
• Travel to new openings as required

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of senior hotel management operational experience as a Director of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Operations, or Hotel Manager in comparable luxury service models, preferably with hotel opening experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated willingness, ability, and cultural sensitivity to adapt to local cultures
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management technologies preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple organizational levels and geographical locations
• Demonstrated capability to motivate and inspire colleagues
• Ability to set and manage priorities while understanding project scope, complexity, effort, risk, resource needs, and timelines
• Ability to coordinate work under pressure with multiple stakeholders across different regions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
• Capability to manage multiple projects and pre-opening phases simultaneously
• Excellent team player with independent perspective
• Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel as needed
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Multilingual capability preferred
