Aman seeks an Overnight Security Guard at Amangiri in Canyon Point to protect guests, staff, property, and equipment through patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, incident response, and emergency support. The role requires security and guest service experience, First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it, and availability for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide a positive guest experience by maintaining a professional image, addressing guest needs, and greeting and assisting arriving guests and visitors.
- Conduct regular resort patrols to secure buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report irregularities, including security breaches and safety hazards.
- Monitor and control personnel ingress and egress, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Complete incident and accident reports accurately and promptly when required.
- Participate in or lead emergency situations and rescue operations as required.
- Warn people of security infractions such as trespassing or loitering, and respond appropriately to security code violations and unauthorized persons.
- Regularly check emergency call boxes, doors, windows, gates, and other security equipment for proper functionality.
- Communicate clearly with security personnel, management, and emergency responders.
- Complete assigned shift duties and maintain detailed records of activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant security experience.
- Clear criminal record and clean driving record.
- First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it; AED certification or a Utah Guard License, or ability to obtain either, preferred.
- Prior experience working with CCTV systems and security monitoring equipment.
- At least 2 years of guest service experience.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with others and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods, patrol the resort on foot or by vehicle, and handle security equipment.
