Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining all facilities, systems, and equipment in exceptional operating condition
- Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for guest rooms, back-of-house areas, public spaces, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and flawless finishes
- Coordinate and prioritize daily workloads to maximize efficiency and maintain seamless operations
- Respond promptly to service requests from all departments, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Adhere to Aman's standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring all team members meet or exceed expectations
- Safeguard all tools, equipment, and materials, promoting their proper use and care
- Actively participate in departmental initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and sustainability practices
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (completed, in progress, or technical certification) in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in maintenance or engineering, preferably within luxury hospitality
- Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Proven leadership skills with excellent problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service
Skills
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in maintenance or engineering, preferably within luxury hospitality or high-end hospitality environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing maintenance operations, coordinating technical teams, and overseeing both preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Education
Engineering degree (completed, in progress, or technical certification) in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
