Aman Venice seeks an Income Auditor in Venice, Italy for full-time finance and accounting support at the luxury Palazzo Papadopoli property.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily bank account controls and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Monitor credit card and cash flows, identify payment discrepancies, process refunds and returns
- Import and verify daily revenue files from Opera system, monitor statistics and night audit reports to ensure daily revenue and settlement reconciliation
- Conduct daily Symphony posting reviews and reconcile any discrepancies with Opera transactions
- Manage accounts receivable and general cashier functions
- Produce electronic invoices for Italian receivables in compliance with local regulations
- Process supplier payments and prepare journal entries for general ledger posting
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Execute month-end and period-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Previous accounting experience in hospitality environments with USALI knowledge
- Proficiency in Business Central and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent in written and verbal English
