Aman Tokyo seeks a part-time Human Resources Intern in Tokyo, Japan. Support HR operations across employee experience, L&D, recruitment, and administration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement activities, employee events, and wellness initiatives
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of employee communications and announcements
  • Coordinate training programs and learning activities, preparing materials and attendance records
  • Track training completion and maintain learning and development records
  • Support onboarding programs and orientation sessions for new employees
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including interview preparation and candidate coordination
  • Maintain candidate records and recruitment tracking reports
  • Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining employee records and HR documents
  • Scan, copy, and archive HR documents in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist with inventory management of office supplies and onboarding materials

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Hospitality, Business, or Tourism
  • Fluency in verbal and written Japanese (must be authorized to work in Japan without sponsorship)
  • Basic English communication skills preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee or company information with integrity
  • Legally eligible to undertake an internship in Japan
